I was inspired from my trip to the pumpkin patch on Tuesday! So here are some Halloween illustrations for ya! these were really a ton of fun to illustrate! Im thinking of putting them in my shop as digital downloads for mini cards or regular cards! not so sure yet :) but I will be adding more so theres a set to purchase!

pumpkin patch

last night I got to hang out with a bunch of my friends. it was really fun. something that I have not done in a while and im glad I went. we all met up at starbucks, drank coffee and we talked about coming together as a community for God. It was also pretty cool that there were new faces that I have never seen. After starbucks we all spontaneously decided to hit up the pumpkin patch, which was about less than 5 minutes walking distance from the coffee shop. haha. we checked out pumpkins, watch the boys slide down the big slide and got to see some goats. topped off the night with Pho :)

invitations : baby boy

im so excited that two lovely friends of mine will be having a little boy in January. They tied the not this past April and I was fortunate enough to attend. I even had the privilege of designing their "save the date" cards, bridal shower invitations & wedding invitations. I am honored once again to work with them by getting to design their baby shower invites! I actually really love doing invitations and im glad that my friends and family have came to me to do some for them. I love gathering their ideas and putting them all in one design. Though, I still have a lot to learn about designing. Sometimes it takes me a while to get just one placement right. haha. I get worried sometimes that maybe its a little too cluttered or "should this font be bigger than that?". So many endless errors but overall its a lot of fun to design them, haha. Above are just some bits from the current invites. After looking at it the next day, I may have to tweak it a bit. I think my favorite part from the whole design was creating the letter "A" with a mustache. Mustaches are their thing so I wanted to incorporate it somehow and I think I did it! :)

i wish i could tell you that my weekend was productive. actually it was quite lazy. full of Once Upon a Time episodes and watching The Purge with my family. It took me a little over a week but im finally caught up on OUAT! I cant help but keep swooning over Charming & Hook. i mean, especially Hook. A man so bad and sexy. *sigh*. even though my weekend was full of fairy tales & people killing others (i did not like the Purge, by the way) i did get to step outside by attending church and later hanging with a good friend. both, unfortunately i have not done in a while. and, it was really nice. lets just hope this week and this weekend coming up is much more productive though. ive been really in the mood to paint!

Gravity + Giveaway(s)

happy Friday everyone! Last night I got to see the movie Gravity in 3D. im not too big on 3D, only because the glasses usually gives me a slight headache =/ but I stuck it out and saw the movie in 3D anyway (ive been hearing a lot of good reviews about it and saying to see it in 3D). Ive got to say, im glad I did! I don't think that movie would be the same if it was seen on the regular screen! That's just my opinion though. if you plan on seeing it, please see it in 3D. you wont be disappointed. (and the winner for writing "3D" a bunch of times in once paragraph goes to.....)!

I really don't like spoiling movies, so theres really not much im gonna say about. other than my anxiety was passed its normal status! haha. it was pretty intense! I think what I loved the most about the film was how real everything looked. the effects & cinematography were off the charts!
