a major sweet tooth

Finally ordered more business cards! And ive added a new one.. the donut. YAY. Im in love with the donut design and im thinking to make little prints of it. Oh, speaking of donuts.. I did some dessert sketches last week and im finally posting them:

a new name

So, if you didnt notice, i changed the name of my blog. I have been wanting to change it for quite some time now. Something fun & cute. For some reason i didnt want just "Rosa Clementine", so i wrote down a list of possible names and i finally picked one. My new blog name is "Pink Milk & Cookies". yay! The story behind the name? Simple! I love Strawberry milk and cookies.. i love sweets. period. haha! k thats all! :)

by the way, heres a drawing i did tonight. A drawing of the famous Alice from Alice in Wonderland. I told myself in May that i was going to sketch everyday.. i kinda failed. haha. but the past 5 days i have been posting sketches on my facebook. Its a goal i hope to continue to stay creative and build up my skills :)

a fun filled weekend

Lately my weekends have been extremely busy, in a good way. but i am lacking some sleep =/ uh well, haha, its summer and im having fun. This past Friday i got to see Happy Body Slow Brain again! It was there last west coast tour until they release their new album. Omg, the only word i can describe about their set was.. hypnotic. I swear these guys are one of the best bands around and they should be bigger than they really are. Not only are their songs really good BUT they are amazing live! There was one song they did at the show where after they were done everyone turned to each other with an amazed/shocking look on their face and people saying "that was awesome" "omg" "are you kidding me?" haha. If you havent heard of them, please look them up and listen to their music :)

For my friends birthday on Saturday a bunch of us went to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. So, i dont really ride rollercoasters =/ but thank God they had Discovery Kingdom there so at least i got to do something instead of waiting around while my friends went on the rides. haha. i love animals! Besides being an illustrator i have always wanted to be a Wild Life Biologist (and a Firefighter, haha)! So, i get really excited when theres an opportunity to see animals! After seeing the Dolphins, now i want to be a trainer. haha. But i probably wont! =P i would LOVE to swim with them though.. someday :)

heres last nights sketch of Spiderman :) its weird how much i am afraid of spiders yet Spiderman is one of my favorite super heros! haha

Hope you all had a lovely weekend!

Night sketches

Sketches into prints

These sketches arnt new, but thought id make them into prints! My sketches are sloppy but are also my favorites! I will add these (plus more) to the shop tomorrow! :)

Theres always money in the Banana stand

Is anyone else an Arrested Development fan? That show gives me so much feels. haha. Im a huge fan so that pretty much inspired this sketch. Since my art show is coming up in about a week, im thinking of creating new pieces based on my favorite tv shows and movies. Im pretty excited and i will try to post some photos and more sketches throughout the process.
Here are some ideas i have so far:

• Arrested Development
• Vampire Diaries
• Mindy Project
• Gilmore Girls
• Hot Fuzz
• Back to the Future
• Hearts in Atlantis

So thats what i got so far and will try to whip something up tonight. Im also thinking of adding a bunch of old Hollywood film inspirations. I will have to go through and see which films i want to do! yay! :)

Tuesday Sketches

Today i decided to do some sketches..
The new Finding Dory poster has been floating around on IG and Facebook today, so i might as well draw the lovely Dory herself.
I also drew Pinocchio and Figaro! I mean... of course! Pinocchio is my absolute favorite! AND Figaro happens to be my best friends favorite, so what better way than to draw the both of them together :) yay!

Old Sketches

Found some old sketches in my phone.

These were sketched digitally using an old Hanven Tablet.

I think this was from a couple years ago.

"xorosa" was my old artist name.
